Exterior
Overall length: 9.9 m; width: a generous 2.8 m. For charter fishing, it carries about 10 passengers and specializes primarily in sea bass and tairaba fishing. The hull is painted black, giving it a sleek appearance. The gunwales are also very sturdy.
Wide Front Deck
The bowsprit makes it easy to board and disembark from the front. It’s foldable to ensure the boat remains undamaged even if the bow takes a light bump. The gunwale height is 42 cm. The design is relatively low, making it easy to work on deck. A sturdy 33-cm handrail is securely mounted on top. It’s a simple flush-mounted design with no fish hold. The deck surface isn’t as hard as on Yamaha boats, and it feels a bit rough in places, but I think that’s to be expected given its age. The anchor winch didn’t work—I’m not sure if it was a wiring issue or a switch problem. The bulwark is equipped with a stainless steel rail that comes in handy for various tasks.
Yamaha center bridge / marine toilet
The windshield has lost its clarity but isn’t cracked. The wide awning is very sturdy. The portside hatch provides access to a private toilet (electric). A spare fuel tank is included.
Cockpit
The side passageway is quite spacious. The seats are high-quality. The Hondex GPS fishfinder is mounted in an easy-to-view position. Apparently, it used to have a larger bridge, but it has been replaced with a Yamaha center bridge. As a result, there are traces on the deck where the previous bridge was removed. During the engine replacement, the hydraulic steering wheel was also replaced with a new one.
Aft Deck
When the engine is lowered, the folding hatch creates a flat surface. Since the construction is sturdy, you can place a cooler here or lean against the handrail while fighting fish. There are two transom steps. These come in handy for engine maintenance or when a fish gets tangled in the propeller. This is not a livewell. Although there is a scupper, please use this space for storage. The battery was replaced in December 2018 and is in normal working condition.

Since it’s a 2024 model, the engine is in excellent condition. The hydraulic system and steering were also replaced during the engine swap. Due to a fishing style that involves a lot of idling, the engine has only about 1,200 hours on it. The internal anode, impeller, filter, and engine oil were just replaced in June 2026. The engine oil is changed frequently, and the engine is always flushed with fresh water after each fishing trip—it’s been well-maintained. It has run smoothly without any issues so far.
