Appearance
The boat was stored on land until 2025 so there is little pain. The bottom of the boat has only been painted three times so the bottom is smooth. They say that the width of the boat makes it a good wave breaker and has a good static balance. Moreover, the high bullwork gives a sense of security while jigging, and it is also safe when small children are on board. There are some minor nicks and stains from mooring storage, but nothing that needs to be repaired.
Front deck/side deck
The top of the deck is gutted. Anchor winch works OK. Tall bullwork and wide side decks. Easy to fish and access front and back. Bowsprit has a bump and bow rail has a minor bend. The wobble is acceptable. Sea anchor will be provided.
Bridge
The ceiling has a wide solar panel with LED fish-collecting lights. Night fishing is also possible. All nautical lights are OK. There are 8 larks in the front pocket. All will be provided. Wipers work OK, windows are wide for good visibility. The acrylic windows on both sides are only whitish because they have been wiped with sea water towels, they are actually clear and clean. The rear cockpit cover has just been replaced with a new one, so there is no salt bite in the chuck.
Aft deck
is flat, gutsy and easy to use. The fish tank is wide. There are two rooms for storing long items. The fuel tank is about 120 liters. There is no rear transom gate. The battery has just been newly replaced.
Cockpit
GPS fish finder is a Hondex 8". Steering is clean as it has only been replaced with a hydraulic cylinder. The chair is well used but has a nice one. 12V outlet and voltmeter are also installed.
The spacious cuddy
is large enough for 3 adults to relax. It is tall and not oppressive. The manual marine toilet has just had the pump replaced. It has been used cleanly. An inverter is set up so you can use a fan or a kettle to boil water. The floor paving is nicely made. Legal equipment is also provided.
Suzuki DF140
usually runs about 22-23 knots at 5000 rpm. The hydraulic cylinders appear to have been replaced not long ago. The tilt motor was just replaced in January 2026. Three new batteries were replaced at the same time. The REV light blinks 3 times for 550 hours, so the total is about 2050 hours. The engine oil has been changed frequently, so it is quiet and vibration free.
